Appreciation: About the 14th century, Aztecs, a nomadic tribe of northern Mexico, settled on a desert island and established the city of Tenochtitlát, which formed a large empire in the late 15th century. In 1821, Mexico was independent. The Aztecs used a Mexican golden eagle perched on a prickly pear cactus grows from a rock devouring a rattlesnake as a national emblem. In Mexican artist Abud de Avila Gabriela Sarabeth’s painting, Aztec World, the sculpted Aztec Solar stone depicts the mythology of Aztec culture. The three Mexican female figures in the foreground are also full of magical realism.（Wang Yong）

 Abud de Avila Gabriela Sarabeth was born in 1948 in Mexico and now she is an artist. She has participated in the 4th Beijing Biennale 2010, the exhibitions in the University of Kaslik, Junieh of Lebanon, the Soumaya Museum of Mexico and USA and so on.
