由中国美术家协会、中共菏泽市委宣传部、菏泽市文联、菏泽市文化和旅游局、中共牡丹区委、牡丹区人民政府共同主办的“第九届中国北京国际美术双年展捐赠作品菏泽巡展”，克服疫情期间举办线下展览的诸多困难，经过为期一个月的如期展出，已于5月10日在菏泽市李荣海美术馆圆满落下帷幕。
The one-month Heze Exhibition of the 9th Beijing International Art Biennale (the 9th Beijing Biennale for short) Collected Artworks, held jointly by the China Artists Association, Publicity Department of the CPC Heze Committee, Heze Federation of Literary and Art Circles, Heze Bureau of Culture and Tourism, CPC Mudan District Committee and Mudan District People’s Government, overcame many difficulties in holding an offline exhibition during the epidemic, and was closed successfully at the Li Ronghai Art Museum in Heze City on May 10th.
本次展览共展出中外艺术作品72件：国内53件、国际19件（19国），参展作品全部来自“第九届中国北京国际美术双年展”捐赠藏品。第九届北京双年展于2022年初在京顺利举办，展览应2022北京冬奥组委会文化活动部之邀加入“相约北京”奥林匹克文化节暨第22届“相约北京”国际艺术节，展出五大洲共117个国家和地区573位美术家的707件（组）作品，以超乎寻常的体量和规模，多彩勾画、立体塑造了伟大的奥运精神及抗疫精神，把北京冬奥会开幕前后的文化艺术氛围推向了高潮。北京双年展作为中国“聚焦人类命运共同体深化文明交流互鉴”的重大美术平台，发挥了促进世界艺术交流的桥梁纽带作用，在全球范围形成了较高的美誉度，为推动构建人类命运共同体作出了重要贡献。
A total of 72 Chinese and international artworks, including 53 Chinese artworks and 19 international works from 19 countries, were exhibited, all of which were collections of the 9th Beijing Biennale. The 9th Beijing Biennale, successfully held in Beijing in early 2022，was included as an important part of MEET IN BEIJING Olympic Culture Festival, and displayed 707 artworks by 573 artists from 117 countries and regions. This exhibition, with a large scale and a huge number of artworks, showcased great Olympic spirits and spirits shown in the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic and fostered a cultural and artistic atmosphere before and after the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics. The Beijing Biennale, as a major artistic platform for “building a Community with a Shared Future for Mankind and strengthening cultural exchanges and mutual learning”, has promoted artistic exchanges and won a great reputation around the world, and made important contributions to the vision of building a Community with a Shared Future for Mankind.
本届北京双年展共计有157位国内外美术家将精心创作的参展作品自愿捐赠给双年展组委会，以表达对中国的热爱与友好、对展览主办方的感谢和对展览本身的认同。本届国内外捐赠作品数多达138件，创历年之最，其中国内作品100件，国际作品32国38件，一举使组委会历届藏品数量达到五大洲92国808件。形成国内规模最大、质量最高、品类最丰富的国际当代美术品收藏，为国家和民族积累了一笔宝贵财富，也是北京双年展在国际艺术界巨大影响力的体现。为充分发挥珍贵藏品的艺术价值和社会影响力，近年来，中国美协基于历届北京双年展藏品策划了多个主题性学术展览，在丹麦、秘鲁、意大利、英国、希腊、西班牙、巴西、南非、俄罗斯等十余个国家成功举办了专题巡展，成果丰硕。国内分别在山东、辽宁、福建、甘肃、江苏、上海等省市多次成功巡展。本届已有山东、四川、江苏等多地美术馆，主动商洽申办捐赠作品国内巡展事宜，菏泽站为2022年第九届北京双年展捐赠作品国内系列巡展的首站。
The 9th Beijing Biennale saw 157 artists from both home and abroad donate their excellent works to the Organizing Committee, which demonstrated their love and friendship for China, their gratitude to organizers and their recognition of the exhibition. This Biennale contributed 138 Chinese and international donations (100 Chinese ones and 38 international ones from 32 countries), the largest number since the exhibition initiated, bringing the total number of collections of the Organizing Committee to 808 pieces from 92 countries across the world. Therefore, the largest collection of contemporary international artworks with the highest quality and richest genre has taken shape, which is a treasure of China and the Chinese nation and a demonstration of the Beijing Biennale’s huge impact in international art. In recent years, to give full play to the artistic value and social influence of the precious collections, the China Artists Association has planned and successfully held many thematic academic exhibitions in more than ten countries, including Denmark, Peru, Italy, Britain, Greece, Spain, Brazil, South Africa and Russia, all of which achieved fruitful results. Besides, these collections toured Shandong, Liaoning, Fujian, Gansu, Jiangsu, Shanghai and many other provinces and cities in China. This year, art museums in Shandong, Sichuan, Jiangsu and other provinces have negotiated exhibitions of donated works, with the Heze Exhibition the first of the series.

菏泽，为伏羲之桑梓，尧舜之故里，是闻名中外的“中国牡丹之都”，同时也是书画之乡、武术之乡、戏曲之乡、民间艺术之乡，享有“一都四乡”的美誉。近年来，菏泽市强调文化发展的策略，努力营造良好的政治、经济、文化环境，依托本市深厚的历史积淀和艺术人才优势，强调以文化带动发展的思路。第三十一届“菏泽国际牡丹文化旅游节”作为菏泽对外文化旅游展示的重要活动项目于2022年4月启动并成功举办，充分体现了大众化、市场化、产业化、人文化、国际化的办节标准。
Heze, the hometown of Fuxi, Yao and Shun (emperors of ancient China), is a world-famous “peony capital of China”, and also home to calligraphy, painting, martial arts, opera and folk arts. In recent years, the Heze City has emphasized the strategy of cultural development, striven to create a sound political, economic and cultural environment, and thanks to its historical and artistic strengths and the large number of talented people, promoted cultural-driven development. The 31st Heze International Peony Cultural Tourism Festival was launched in April, 2022 and successfully held as an important international cultural and tourism program of Heze, which was people-oriented and emphasized people-to-people exchanges.
“第九届北京双年展捐赠作品菏泽巡展”于第三十一届“菏泽国际牡丹文化旅游节”期间举办，以牡丹为桥梁，以美术为纽带，活化藏品，加强对外文化交流，搭建艺术对话平台，丰富人民群众的精神文化生活，实现北京双年展捐赠作品精准、持续惠民的同时，进一步加强展览的影响力和社会美誉度，实现文化与旅游双项融合的新模式。此外展览主办方还定向特邀市直相关单位、企业、媒体界朋友走进展馆，以此巡展为契机，深度探讨菏泽市文化发展框架脉络，为打造“文化大市”助力。同时在有效做好疫情防控工作的基础上，积极通过新媒体形式丰富观展模式，做好线上线下共同进行，最大限度弥补疫情带来的诸多局限。
Held during the 31st Heze International Peony Cultural Tourism Festival, the Heze Exhibition of the 9th Beijing Biennale Collected Artworks has taken advantage of peony and art to give full play to collections, strengthen international cultural exchanges, provide a platform for artistic dialogue, and enrich people’s cultural life. While benefiting people with the collections of the Beijing Biennale, it has become more influential and won great reputation within the society, and has explored a new model of integrating culture and tourism. In addition, the organizers have invited relevant authorities, enterprises and friends from the media circles to visit the exhibition, while discussing the framework of cultural development in Heze and the way of building Heze into a major city with advanced culture. The organizers have taken into account both the pandemic prevention and control and various forms of new media to enable an online-offline exhibition and make up for many limitations caused by the pandemic.

值得一提的是，2018年立春时节，菏泽曾经成功举办前七届北京双年展藏品在国内的首次巡展，该展的成功举办标志着北京双年展藏品尤其是国外捐赠作品国内惠民展览工程的正式启动。此次是第二次申办北京双年展捐赠作品的国内巡展，本次展出的72件国内外作品，涵盖中国画、油画、版画、综合材料绘画等多种类型，其艺术门类的多样也表明了北京双年展一贯倡导的尊重传统、崇尚创新的策展理念。这些极具代表性的作品浓缩了第九届北京双年展的主题精华，除了“北京冬奥”与“全球抗疫”，还涉及“大体育”“文化交融”“举办国风土人情”等多元题材。艺术家的视觉表达透出强烈的人道主义光芒，能够直抵人们的内心深处，唤起无以复加的共鸣。人类命运共同体，通过艺术层面的多重聚焦，比任何时候都更令人由衷认同、尊重、关爱与呵护，第九届北京国际美术双年展捐赠作品也正是这方面的有力佐证。
It is worth mentioning that in the beginning of spring in 2018, Heze successfully held the first tour exhibition displaying the collections of the previous seven Beijing Biennales in China, marking the initiation of people-benefiting exhibitions featuring Beijing Biennale collections, especially those donated by international artists. This year, Heze held a domestic tour exhibition for the second time, exhibiting 72 Chinese and international works, covering such genres as traditional Chinese painting, oil painting, print and comprehensive material painting. These various genres demonstrated the curatorial vision of respecting tradition and advocating innovation that the Beijing Biennale has always advocated. Besides, artworks in this tour exhibition fully showcased the theme of the 9th Beijing Biennale, involving such aspects as the Beijing Winter Olympics, global response to Covid-19, sports, cultural integration and customs of the host country. They reveal a strong sense of humanitarianism, reaching viewers’ hearts and arousing resonance among them. Through art, the vision of building a community with a shared future for mankind is recognized and respected more than ever before, to which donated artworks of the 9th Beijing Biennale can fully attest.

The Beijing Biennale will enlarge its collections as it marches forward.
