A national tour of selected artworks once shown at the eighth Beijing International Art Biennale has arrived at the Liaohe Art Museum in Panjin, Liaoning province.
The exhibition, which runs through Oct 8, aims at enriching the cultural life of people in Northeast China with its display of more than 130 paintings, sculptures, drawings and installations. The works were donated by their makers from across the world to the organizing committee of the BIAB.
BIAB was launched in 2002 by the China Artists Association. Its eighth edition was held in 2019 at the National Art Museum of China, with a themed of "a colorful world and a shared future".
