——Salute to the Silk Road
If the Silk Road in history has promoted mutual understanding and mutual benefit among people along the Silk Road during their cultural and economic exchanges, then today’s interaction and promotion of culture and economy will further change the world, and plant in us—as a community of common destiny for mankind—a series of new longings and appeals. World civilizations are manifold, a fact which artists respond to with uncommon sensitivity. On the one hand they are visual speakers of a specific civilization, minutely highlighting its strength and features; on the other they act as a bridge making possible heart-to-heart communications.

In the face of fresh and lively people and customs passionately rendered by artists around the world, we are certainly aroused with curiosity and be much satisfied. But more important is that we may from this form an awareness encompassing respect, understanding and eulogy. Only in this way mutual influence and upgrade among civilizations will be especially appealing.
